Some of the Key Procedures We Do:
At Narayana Health, we always strive to provide the best possible medical treatment to our patients aiming to achieve the highest possible success rate.
-
Chemotherapy
Chemotherapy is a treatment that uses anticancer drugs to slow or stop the growth of rapidly dividing cancer cells in the body. Our medical oncologists are experienced in delivering targeted, individualised chemotherapy while proactively managing its side effects. Chemotherapy drugs can be used alone or in combination to treat a wide variety of cancers.
-

Our multidisciplinary faculty teams comprise of highly skilled and experienced Hematologists, medical oncologists, pediatric oncologists and specially trained nursing, and paramedical staff manning the units round the clock.
-
Mastectomy
Mastectomy is surgery to remove all breast tissue from a breast as a way to treat or prevent breast cancer. For those with early-stage breast cancer, mastectomy may be a treatment option. Surgery to restore shape to your breast — called breast reconstruction — may be done at the same time as your mastectomy or during a second operation at a later date.
-
Lumpectomy
Lumpectomy (also known as breast conserving surgery, partial mastectomy or wide excision) is a surgery to remove cancer from the breast. Unlike a mastectomy, a lumpectomy removes only the tumor and a small rim of normal tissue around it. It leaves most of the breast skin and tissue in place. With lumpectomy, the breast looks as close as possible to how it did before surgery. Most often, the general shape of the breast and the nipple area are kept.
-
Radiation Therapy
Radiation therapy is a type of cancer treatment that uses beams of intense energy to kill cancer cells. Radiation therapy most often uses X-rays, but protons or other types of energy also can be used. The goal of radiation therapy is to kill any cancer that might be left in or around the breast or nearby lymph nodes after surgery.
-
Hormone Therapy
Hormone therapy is a cancer treatment that slows or stops the growth of cancer that uses hormones to grow. Hormone therapy is used to treat prostate and breast cancers that use hormones to grow. It is mostly used along with other cancer treatments.
The types of treatment that you need depend on the type of cancer, if it has spread and how far, if it uses hormones to grow, and if you have other health problems.
-
Targeted Therapy
Targeted therapy is a type of cancer treatment that targets the changes in cancer cells that help them grow, divide, and spread. Targeted therapies only work on cancers that have the specific markers they were designed to target. So, many people can't use these drugs. Unlike chemotherapy drugs, targeted therapies kill cancer cells with little harm to healthy cells.
