Structure

  • Attendee registrations are restricted to small batches

  • Trainings scheduled on weekends

  • Use of latest Philips equipment for hands-on learning: EPIQCVx, AffinitiCVx, Lumify, QLAB

  • Comprehensive curriculum covering fundamentals and advanced Echo

  • Registration fee is inclusive of course material and lunch (accommodation is additional)

  • Certificates will be awarded only on 100% attendance

Meet the Mentor - Dr. Satish C Govind

Program Director, Chief of Non-Invasive Cardiology

Dr. Satish Govind has more than three decades of clinical experience and expertise in non-invasive cardiology, especially echocardiography. He has vast experience in conventional echo, advanced echo (like 3D and Strain echocardiography), transesophageal echo, stress echo and interventional echo. He is a reputed clinical trainer, experienced coach & well-known faculty at various cardiology & imaging conferences.

1) Basic Echo – M1

Basics of M-mode, 2D, Doppler echo, know your machine, knobs, views, image acquisition, getting a good image, anatomy, basic hemodynamics, measurements, reporting and planning your echo lab, basics of chamber functions, valve diseases, coronary artery disease, pulmonary hypertension and pericardial effusion.

2-day course for those performing Echo regularly
Transthoracic 3D, Strain, Contrast, Stress echo and recent advances.

1-day course for those performing Echo regularly
Comprehensive strain echo, basics, indications, analysis, challenges and interesting cases.
